Glass wasnt easy to make with many tutorials going differently from one and the other. But suddenly it worked.

It had taken so many tries and time to find and work out what I needed to do with the texture unfolding method. Finally got this texturing working, but still unsure on the texturing before hand since at the start. Took to long so made most of the objects again. (but lucky now knowing what it likes and process of modeling, didnt take more than few days to make it all up again and working.

unsure way this happened when I started doing texturing for my clock.
THe only texture you get to see is the vertex lines.
I have tried doing it many ways and cannt manage to get it right at all. Clock face of the last image is doing it too.
The only thing works with texturing is with plain colours like the colden yellow clock bell.

Movements of animated clocks
The mini clock have a small movement with the hand and a mini swing side to side.
The Idea of jumping side to side when it is moving, with the siff legs it have.
Movement maybe having to legs at a time.

With this child clip, I like the idea of having the top part of the head move a little.
Will use it in some part of my animtion work.
Emotion can show happy or it can be sad or angery. Moving it up and down. Will need to see when I do it in what envornment I put it in.

Gave up and changed to the start again
Starting new model up again. Clock- grandfather clock 2

Made my base and test trying with other methods or shape that it might goes well. I have now wanted to make the draw at the bottom idea so that now, i am making separate parts for sections that I am making.
The bottom part is like a mini table top for the clock body to site on (well connect on).
having little stick outs where it can form features on it.
Smoothing the object looks really good and what I wanted to happen now.
Trying and trying
After spending many hours and time on the first model with all the things i wanted to work and do, nothing was going along and the subdivision not showing up to make things smooth or over lapping
Everything that I'm trying to do and fixing just goes worse each time.

This is what happened that shocked me when i smoothed it, even trying to fix and change lines and it didn't work. Its taking me few days to get it right and move on to have a brake and than back to it incase i was spending to much time on it that i cannot think of anything. At the end, I have given up now. its just not working and made the decision that i would be better to start over again instead of wasting more time on it since i had made my working object as one whole mesh than separate. Lesson learnt to do things in parts would be better so it would be easy to be done again in mini parts than as a whole.

After looking at old grandfather clocks. Have a mini plan in mind on what i want it to look like but than doing it on here so far isn't working to much, so had changed to a nice and basic style where it will still look good and still function well.


Trying to make the face for the clock. having a shaped form would be better than a flat square type.
BUt than when exploring different methods and ways to do with maya. expanded and changed the corners and form new shapes and form of looking
